Techni Ice is shipped in its dehydrated form. This means you will have to hydrate your Techni Ice sheet before freezing it or heating it up.

We do this to protect the integrity of the ice sheet, with the added benefit of reducing shipping costs.

Hydrating your Techni Ice sheet is quick and easy.

• Whilst immersed in very warm water scrunch and release sheet in hands repeatedly until al the air bubbles have been released.

• You will notice hydration (swelling) has commenced (takes approximately 2 – 3 minutes). On occasion some cells swell quicker than others. In this case rub the slower cells while immersed in water for a further 1 – 2 minutes until al cells are fully hydrated (swollen to +/- 2.5cm/ 1 inch)

• To speed up the process, the Techni-Ice sheets can be placed submersed in a bath in boiling water – once the water has cooled down, the sheets can be scrunched to release the air bubbles and the hydration process can be completed.
